Where will you stay?

Where will you stay? You could choose to stay in the UVic residences, which are an easy walk to the conference site, or you could stay at a downtown hotel, close to a variety of tourist activities. Please note that downtown hotels would require a taxi or transit to the UVic campus and conference site (approximately 15 minute taxi ride). UVic residence descriptions, prices and a link to their website are listed below. Scroll down for a list of downtown hotels.

UVic Residence

Private Single or twin dorm $60/single $70/twin

Each room is lockable with one single bed or two single beds (twin), wardrobe, desk, with shared washrooms and a common shared lounge near each floor.

Regular Double Apartment $158
Each Residence apartment has a double bed, private bathroom, seating area and small kitchenette. Guests are required to bring their own kitchen supplies.

Deluxe Double Apartment $171

Each Residence apartment has a double bed, private bathroom, seating area and small kitchenette. This includes cookware and dishes.

Regular Cluster Unit $266

Cluster units feature four bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Each bedroom is lockable and features a single bed, wardrobe and desk. Guests must provide their own kitchen supplies unless a Deluxe unit is booked (additional nightly fee applies). Each unit is booked by the unit.

Deluxe Cluster Unit $290

Cluster units feature four bedrooms, living room, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Each bed room is lock able and features a single bed, wardrobe and desk. Basic kitchen supplies are provided.

TV’s are not provided.

Rates are per night, and are subject to applicable taxes (GST, PST, and MRDT). The current tax rate is 15% in total (subject to change). Please note that cluster units are always booked by the unit and not by the bedroom per night. Our website will have some information on it regarding room descriptions and other information.
